How Do I Increase My MailBox Size

cPanel is THE best tool on the market for managing your hosting account. If you have standard hosting with us, you will have received login details for accessing your own cPanel. To access your cPanel simply add some numbers on to the end of your web address so that the format is like this:

www.mydomainname.com/cpanel (so that's /cpanel added to the end of your web address). Replace the mydomainname in this example with your own domain name.

Enter your username and password to log into your cPanel and you will see a page like this

You have access to Video Tutorials (top line with the film clipper board icon) which show you how to perform tasks in your cPanel, eg how to create a new email address.

How to increase the mailbox size

Once logged into CPanel, look for the Mail section, open up Email Accounts.

In the bottom half of the screen that loads, choose the Account you want to change the mail box size of and on the Right Hand Side of the page if you run your cursor over the various icons, the 2nd icon listed is "Change Quota".

Choose this option and change the quota to the new limit.

Log out of CPanel.

Please Note

We strongly recommed that you leave the quota at 50MB and use pop3 mail rather than IMAP or webmail, because otherwise your mailbox size will continue to grow and you'll have to upgrade your hosting account to accommodate your large mailbox.
