Photo Preparation

Please be sure that your photos are the correct size before adding them to your website (see FAQ on changing photo sizes).

1. Add Photos

Go to your admin control panel and click 'Media Manager' (click 'Home' in the admin menu):

Click the 'stories' folder

Click the browse button

Find the photo you want to add, then click Open

The location of the photo will be added to the File Upload field automatically, and then just click 'Upload' at the top right for your photo to be copied to the server:

2. Add Photo to Page

Go to the page you want to insert the link into, by going to Content>All Content Items and then clicking on the page to open the settings:

Follow these steps and refer to the illustration below:

1. Write {mosimage} where you want your photo to appear. This is a special name, which is used as a placeholder for the photo you indicate.

2. Go to the 'Images' tab and choose the photo you'd like to use by selecting it.

3. Click the right arrow in the middle which will add it to the right column.

4. Highlight the photo name in the right column

5. Choose where you want the photo to appear. If you choose 'image align left', the photo will appear on the left with the text to its right.

6. Give your photo a name, in the Alt Text field.

7. Click 'Save' at the top right.

3. Adding more than one photo

To add more than one photo, go through exactly the same steps again. This time you should be adding a second {mosimage} placeholder. The placeholders will add photos according to the order in which they are specified in item 4 in the illustration above. You can change the order of the photos by clicking the Up and Down buttons at the bottom of that column.
