How do I link from one place in my page to another place in the same page?

What you need is called an anchor link.

Step 1

Hightlight the destination text, ie where you want to link TO. Click the anchor icon in the toolbar. Give your anchor a short name with no spaces, eg date1

Step 2

Hightlight your source text, ie where you want to link FROM. Click the paperclip icon. Near the bottom of the box that appears you'll see 'Anchors'. Choose your destination, eg date1 and click 'insert' and then save the article.
