We have already configured sh404SEF for you. This is what is does, as a rule, to generate your URL. Please use the following URL as an example:

www.dotcomkiosk.com/faqs/joomla-1.5/the-parts-of-your-page.php

The red part = section

The green part = category

The blue part = article title

Therefore you know that this page is categorised in FAQs/Joomla 1.5. When you want to insert keywords into your URL then this is the way to do it and automate it, so you're not manually creating URLs for all your pages.

If you want to hide section and/or catetgory from your URL you can change the SEF configuration for it by going to Components>sh404SEF and then clicking on 'Configuration. You'll see the following setting in the 'Plugins' tab. Only change this if your site is a new website and the concequences of this do not have a serious impact on your website. Imagine if Google has indexed your pages and you then change the URLs? Enough said. Please plan for this by creating 301 redirects in the correct manner.
